I may have missed it but what battery was in this Rise, did you get the bigger 630wh one?

Its mad when i was younger, alway said mudguards were stupid aha few years later wont have a bike without them. I got the rrp because of pinned tv. Great video, jim and tod.

That is a noisy bike! Clicking and clacking all the way down. Is it mostly just cable rattle? Love the lightweight bikes, and will likely be the type of eeb I go for when the time comes, but that noise is off putting. Cracking trails though. The intents was a bit slow...😉😆

Is the portable generator the best option for charging while away racing? I've watched lots of van videos where the owners swear by portable battery power stations, what are your thoughts on cost comparisons/sound pollution etc?

That olde English bulldogge at the start is a spitting image of mine, same colour and same markings, looks about the same age too I wonder if there from the same litter 😂

My original Rise came in motor 'Profile 1', which is the 'economical' profile - first thing I did was select 'Profile 2', which gave me the full 60Nm (for the original, that's all you get!). Does the new Rise have a similar setting, as I thought it should give you up to 85Nm, which is full-power territory, or is it the 'RS' tune makes it feel like less? ps - loved the video, and wish I could ride half as well!

Yeah good choice for the best of both bikes if you only have room for one bike, I test rode one straight from only ever riding a hardtail analog mind blowing how much it felt like a normal bike how many laps I could get in laughing on climbs hitting all my usual trails/ jumps, the speed you can carry on descents having a full sus too 🤯 there was no going back 😂

For a fit e-biker (I know, what’s that?), how much less mileage do you think there is for the same trail (a %). For example, that long Enduro you did with was it 55km in total? You both had a few bars left in your full fat Orbeas, didn’t you? Would this Rise have got you round without a range extender? Happy with your guess 🎉 Ta!
